Private guided walks in Swansea and Gower
Come Alive. Explore. Restore.
Are you looking for Gower coastal walks? Wellbeing walks? Walk and talk walks? Look no further! I can create the perfect walks for you and your friends.
Whether you are visiting Wales or resident here, I am available to take you on walks to explore the stunning Gower coast and the many green spaces within the city of Swansea.
If you do not normally walk much for whatever reason, I can work with you to develop confidence and improve fitness. We can work on a bespoke wellbeing programme to help you attain your health goals.
Or maybe you wish to plan a special group walk and talk walk to discuss a particular issue with others, to remember someone who has died or to celebrate one of life's important milestones. Let me arrange and lead this for you.
In all of these walks you will experience the restorative benefits of reconnecting with nature and the great outdoors, boosting your physical and mental health and leaving you with a heightened sense of wellbeing.
Contact me to discuss your walking needs and I will arrange walks at a time and place of your choosing.
Exercise does not have to mean sweating away in a gym or running a marathon. Regular walking is the perfect way to improve your mental and physical health. Walking trains the body and calms the mind, helping you to think clearly. A walking pace is also perfectly suited to really noticing our natural surroundings and experiencing the sensory delights they bring.
And what amazing natural surroundings we have in this part of Wales! Swansea is a green city with a fascinating history and a fabulous location, situated on a spectacular bay and adjacent to an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Gower Peninsular. Only slightly further afield are the wonderful South Wales coastline and the Brecon Beacons.
I like to share my knowledge and enjoyment of these wonderful places with visitors and with women who perhaps do not normally make time or have the confidence to explore the richness of the area on their own.

'Lovely walk in the sun with Let's Walk this morning on The Promenade and Primrose Hill. Great to see the community garden with its library in gaily painted filing cabinets. What a wonderful idea!'
'Great walk this morning, you are a positive and very friendly group of ladies.
Thank you Brigid for your welcome and knowledge and for creating this really lovely group and also for playing the extra special bonus of the wonderful rendering of Dylan Thomas's poem read by the one and only Richard Burton.
Looking forward to next week!'
'My walk was great, and felt Covid-safe. I'll be back! Thank you so much.'
'Brigid, thank you for my "staycation" walks last week. They did a great deal for my morale. I’ve realised that I need a leader when it comes to orienteering and that’s the relaxing bit for me … handing over the reins for once. Thank you.'
'Our walks with "Let's Walk" have made a real difference to settling into Swansea. In good company we have been exploring the beautiful parks and open spaces of Uplands. Each walk has had a theme, which Brigid researches and introduces with a light touch, and we share our own impressions, and for some, memories of the place as we pause in some interesting corner. Swansea then and now is coming to life, in Cwmdonkin Park with Dylan Thomas, up in the peaceful oasis of Rosehill Quarry, and last week with an inspiring glimpse into the Vetch and the wonderful Community Garden there. It's really enjoyable!'
